In line with the procedures for obtaining the Certificate of Favorable Business Environment in South East Europe (BFC SEE), DevCon representative Mišel Pavlica was engaged as the lead verifier during the verification visit to the Municipality of Novi Grad on June 18, 2025.
During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the local business community, the municipal administration, and public utility companies.
The verification process confirmed that the Municipality of Novi Grad provided the required documentation in accordance with the Fourth Edition of the BFC SEE standard and meets the prescribed criteria to be certified as a local government with a favorable business environment. The verification committee issued several recommendations aimed at ensuring continuity and improving the implementation of the standard. It subsequently proposed to the competent regional certification body that Novi Grad be awarded the BFC SEE Certificate for a Favorable Business Environment, Fourth Edition.
We congratulate the representatives of the Municipality of Novi Grad on their efforts and hope the certification will yield the expected benefits in terms of enhancing current economic activities, attracting new investments, and improving the quality of life for all citizens.
