DevCon has been engeged to deliver a training in the field of “Application of the Regulation on (Development Strategy) Implementation Documents in the Republic of Srpska (RS)”. The training, organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Administration and Self-Government and Agency for State Administration of RS, was held in Laktaši beteen February 14 and 17, 2022, as a part of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Integrated Local Development (ILDP) project and the project supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in BiH.
The training involved two groups of attendees, with total of 40 participants (23 women and 17 men) from the following local government units: Banja Luka, Čelinac, Istočni Drvar, Laktaši, Stanari, Kotor Varoš, Gradiška, Srbac, Šipovo, Kozarska Dubica, Novi Grad, Kostajnica, Prijedor, Petrovac, Oštra Luka, Krupa na Uni and Mrkonjić Grad. The training for the first group of participants was held on 14 and 15 and and for the second gruoup on 16 and 17 February, 2022.
The participants have managed to improve their knowledge in the field of application of the relevant Regulation from 58%, based on the initial test, to 80%, based on the outcomes of the final test conducted after the training was held.
The training was held by UNDP certified trainer, Mr. Mišel Pavlica. Among other fileds of expertise, DevCon is specialized in strategic and operational planning in public sector.
