Together with its partner Erbez Consulting, DevCon took part in lecturing on the subjects related to diversification of economic activities in rural areas at the Agricultural school “Sanus Futurum” nearby Sanski Most. The event was organised for the representatives of Local Agricultural Associations “SLUP” with participation of USAID Development of Sustainable Tourism Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The first part of the event was related to possibilities and preconditions for development of tourism and was followed by sustainable use of natural resources in rural areas. The joint conclusion by the participants involved the need to diversify rural economic activities from agriculture to other fileds, whereby tourism has strong potential.
